As I recall, the official CRCT results should have been validated by now. Where are they? Why haven't we had a party to celebrate Mrs. Ervin's GREATNESS for leading us through the wilderness and to the promised land of educational success? Someone please call the band directors a Morehouse, Morris Brown, Clark, Tennessee State, and FAMU to schedule a parade down Veteran Memorial to celebrate her GREATNESS!! Better yet.....Call Tom Joyner, Steve Harvey, and Frank Ski!! We really need to let it be known that "WE" made AYP last year. HOLD UP! WAIT A MINUTE! UH, AH, UH, AH-AH! Did we even make it?!?
I guess you got your answer today. Sorry that the bands you mentioned couldn't make it. They were in a meeting with the govenor and the education superintendent.
ReplyDeleteLOL! Can you all believe the production that took place at the school this morning? I thought I was as the BET Awards. It's all a show and I'm sick of it. When McCrary made AYP, he behaved like a champion. It was announced and he didn't make a big deal about it because he expected it to happen. Low class losers have to celebrate on a major level because a win may never come their way again.

What pisses me off is that they make it seem like nothing had been done before Ervin came on board, yes she made changes but what about McCracy? He did make it the first year, without that year we would not be "off the list". Clipboard maybe you can do a staff development on that one. As a Lindley veteran, it upsets me that they think no one had the "ability" to teach before Ervin.

ReplyDeleteI get sick of teachers whining about Admins and what has to be done that none of you have a clue about. Shut up and do your jobs! if you don't like What Ervin is doing, quit or come with an idea or two that is better. Other than that, shut up and serve the children with everything you have plus more! That's why we teach. Nobody cares about how hard it is for you. It's YOUR chosen profession. Everyone makes mistakes even leaders. If they didn't, they would be God himself. I'm ashamed at some of the comments that I have read that have come out of the minds of people that I share the profession with and are teaching our children. Each person that has defamed the profession of Educator by "Sandblasting" your principal, isn't fit to teach children curriculum much less character. You are the change you've been looking for. Step up or shut up. At 9:00pm instead of being on here anonymously complaining, spend time thinking like an administrator/teacher and come up with ideas that will not only improve your classroom performance, but each subgroup that is serviced in your school. Write it up in a professionally documented format and present it to your principal as well as to the superintendent. Pitch your well constructed idea and see where that goes. That's what schools in Georgia need, fresh, innovative, cutting edge ideas....not complainers.
ReplyDeleteP.S.-I don't work at your school but four years ago I was part of a team that exceeded expectations under Mrs. Ervin. Anything I didn't agree with, I brought it to her attention with a solution. You would be surprised where that would take you!
Thank you! Finally an educated teacher. I wholeheartedly agree with you. I'm a parent and I support all of my kids teachers with any and everything they need. I absolutely love Mrs. Ervin and what she is trying to do with our kids. I am never offended by her frank comments about the poor performance and behavior of those kids, because I know that my kids are NEVER in that bunch. It is very disturbing to know that the people educating my kids would put together such garbage about an excellent leader. I agree with you, they should step up or SHUT UP! Find another job please, because teaching aint it!
