THE HAPPENING

First of all I’d like to say that the first paragraph demonstrates the level of mental illness that Mrs. Ervin experiences each day. She’s at STAGE FOUR STUPIDITY. It is also a demonstration of how she tries to brainwash those around her. Everyone that was at Lindley before she came knew that the school was doing just fine before her first hog hoof hit the main entrance. We made AYP that year Mrs. Ervin. That means that we were first, you know, like Sprint EVO 4G. And let me set the record straight….MR. MCCRARY was the first Lindley principal to make AYP!! So stop lying to people by telling them that you had something to do with it. All your fat ass did in the summer was hire new cleaning crews to clean the building. That’s it. As for the question she asks about her vision leaving…… I’ll answer for everyone. HELL YEA!! When yo fat ass leaves the building for good everything you brought with you will be gone. Get the Fuck Out!! And take your ass-kissin cronies with you. Oh , I forgot. You really don’t give a damn about them. Sorry cronies. You’ll be on your own so you know that you’re gonna get a good old-fashioned ass-kickin’ from the staff when your Supreme Oppressor isn’t there to protect you.
As for the new teachers at Lindley this year, I know you can’t believe what you’ve gotten yourself into by accepting the job. You feel like you’re not going to make it. You’re tired on Ervin calling you into the office and saying “You ain’t shit! Your mamma ain’t shit! And your daddy ain’t shit!”. Don’t worry about it and don’t take it personal. She’s a lunatic. She takes pleasure in making you suffer. Bottom line is that she’s certifiable.
For those that don’t work at Lindley but still follow this blog, I have some questions for you. Why is it that Lindley teachers are burnt out this early in the school year? Why is Mrs. Ervin being allowed to abuse and slave drive the staff when the CCSD is aware of the things that she does? And can someone tell me why Mrs. Ervin drives a white woman away from the school each year within 90 days? LOL! That’s a crazy statistic.

  1. First of all, I would like to express my love for the "remember when" staff development session. Goodness was that uplifting and sooo inspirational. Really amazing when she quoted that Lindley was the worst school in the country. Thank god our superwoman came. Could she fucking toot her own horn even more?! Even the new people could tell the exaggerations. And yes Mrs. Ervin we all fucking know you have nothing better to do with your time! You make that evident on a daily basis. It is just a shame that what goes around comes around isn't coming quick enough. Sincerely, Waiting Impatiently.

  2. What is a shame is the dire disrespect that she showed during her “Remember When” powerpoint. The main point that everyone needs to realize is WE MADE AYP!!!! Without Ervin! We were teaching and I was a happy teacher then. Mrs. Ervin has stooped to an all new level of crazy!!! Someone needs to stop her before the entire staff (with the exception of a few of course) leaves the building. Mrs. Ervin is crazy and I don’t understand how she can continue to get away with all that she does. The work conditions here are horrible, we are talked to like we are the scum of the earth, she makes EVERYTHING about her not about the children. The majority of teachers are still at Lindley because they are devoted to the children but that is what she hates! Our devotion is NOT to her…I think she calls that “being disloyal” and reasons to paper and pencil yo a**!!!! Can we please get back to teaching!

Someone needs to pay attention to the work conditions that are at Lindley and step in before this “so called leader WITH a title” destroys the school. Mrs. Ervin, have you looked in the mirror to ask yourself if YOU have mastered your craft? If so….This is what I think is so ironic. The day that she gave the “remember when” powerpoint; how many teachers were out that day, how many times were classrooms out of control needing 45 or an administrator, how many times did SHE have to go in and threaten the kids? WOW!!!! But we have come so far? How many fights have we had this year in month 2? How many OSS have occurred so far in month 2? How many lectures have we had from Ervin already about teachers not fulfilling the dirty dozen in month 2? Why are your departments fighting each other I month 2? But you have done so much for the school, yeah right! You need to STOP blaming your teachers and look in the mirror Big Erv!

    From,
    Waiting on MACE to return!!!

  3. I am anxious to see how many people do NOT come back after the Xmas break, or better yet how many people that transfer, or do not sign their contracts after this year. NO ONE can continue to work at this level. SHE could NOT do all the things she demands us to do consistently ever day! Cobb County is going to eventually have to do something!

Oh yea, has anyone noticed that she has her own PERSONAL bathroom now in the front office?

And that DATA ROOM....BAHAHAHAHAHAHA...Haha Please explain to me how over 2,500 post-its stuck to three walls in a teeny-tiny room is going to help anyone become a better teacher.

  4. That is something that I am waiting to see. Can't wait till see how the tide turns after the Winter break. I have been trying to wait her out since her track record is only 2 to 3 years at a school but it looks like CCSD is not paying attention to the mistreatment that is occurring at Lindley. So I know that I will not return this next year. Has anyone thought about WHY she does not last at school? I think it is because all shit hits the roof after 2 years with the teachers. They realize that she is truly certifiably CRAZY and they push her out. For some reason the teachers are scared to do this at LMS and that is why she is still here. We have to stop being afraid of her and stand up for what is right. We are the only school in Cobb that is ran like this. If you pay attention and think back to year 1 and year 2, year 3 is WORSE, we are getting back to "where we came from". She is making so many demands that she can't do in a classroom everyday all day. I would like for her to come in and model her great expectations.

  5. Can we say HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!
And why did your husband NOT want to spend the evening with you at the Fiesta?
Things that make you go HUMMMMM…

  6. I am surprised NO one has mentioned that great schedule that we had during testing. Can someone please answer why the kids were not scheduled for math for 8 days; math is our weakest area right? That is our focus right? Our great principals’ evaluation is based on math success right? So why would she approve a schedule that kids would NOT have math for 8 days? Another thing I don’t understand why is the PE teacher and Dance teacher teaching math 2 days a week? Are they math certified? Does Big Erv have so much confidence in them that she trust them to teach math? Did Admin not plan for planning time when he built this awesome schedule that is designed to support math? Totally against what leadership decided on while they were at the Vinnings Club last year eating up Cobb’s money with Big Erv on another one of her lavish meetings?

  8. Until you teachers at Lindley stand up for yourselves, nothing is going to change. You give her power over you because you are too scared to do anthing about her actions. Everyone is Cobb know about this blog including the board. They know the complaints that are written here are true too. But without any official paperwork being filed they can't do anything. If you want to see a change take place you need to cause the the change to take place. She is banking on your fear. Fear of getting fired, losing your house, car, etc.. People on here are waiting for MACE to show up. Why? If there are official complaints on file you have no ammunition. The school board can't do anything either. Why? There are no complaints on file. You are allowing yourselves to be stepped on. If she does something unethical, like it seems that she does all the time. You have the right to file a grievance against her. But if you're going to do something it can't be one person taking action and the rest of you cowering behind the one. All or a majority of the teachers need to file that same grievance. The school board can't ignore it then. Remember, this is a government job. There a checks and balances for everything. She has to answer to a higher authority too. I read in another post where someone said, "Why does Cobb allow her to do these things?" The truth is that it isn't Cobb. It is you that allow these things to happen. You have to do something. But my guess is that you all are afraid and won't take any action. But I hope I'm wrong...

  9. Judge Brown,
I am going to speak out for the teachers (if you have a different perspective please share). Yes we are scared. We know what she is doing is wrong and we also know how she ruins careers of people that go against her. I personally want to step up but I know my life would be hell at Lindley. Everything takes a process and in the meanwhile she will make you quit. I feel that we can't go to CCAE because she will be proteced and she will know who it is and create a more hostile environment. She is mean and evil and enjoys hurting people and taking power over people. We know that people have made complaints and they are over looked so we feel like there is no help for us. This situation is very frustrating becasue we just want to teach, do our jobs, and go home. Teaching should be rewarding not regretful that we accepted the position at LMS.

  10. Well, well, well...I have been waiting for this. Many people told me that Lindley was better this year. That Ervin had finally calmed down and was showing people respect. I knew it was only a matter of time.

All I can say to you all who are still there: Be strong, focus on the kids, stand your ground, and please don't be delusional. No matter how hard you work (i.e. excellent CRCT scores) or how much you shut your mouth and keep your head down (i.e. attending all after school programs, dances, etc./working 12 hour days)...you still won't get a reference when you leave!

I absolutely promise all of you that you do NOT need a reference when you leave. All of the teachers who left last year are doing extremely well in their careers WITHOUT A REFERENCE.

Not Really. Aren't several of them still unemployed or going back to school to change careers?

  14. FILE A GRIEVANCE TEACHERS - She can not take your lunch time! This is policy in black and white

We do get a lunch time; we just have to supervise kids while eating. How can we file a grievance when she is within the law?

    ReplyDelete
  16. Well OBVIOUSLY you have NOT been paying attention to some things that are happening so keep your mouth closed until you know the details! I would not put this out there if she was in regulation! I am not one of those who use slander, I state the truth. So you can go back to kissing her big fat butt and leave my comments alone!

    ReplyDelete
  17. Big Erv cannot ruin everyone's life. If the majority of the staff file a complaint, CCSD will see that it is her and not one teacher. Also, it is only one of her and about 100 of you minus the ass kissers. She can't give hell to everyone, even if your name is on the complaint. Think of it as the RTI (Response to Immoral treatment) process for her. Document, Document, Document and file complaints.

    Secondly,
Teachers and Administrators within the county and in other counties know of her mistreatment and they understand why a teacher would want to leave her school. Don't let her fool you into thinking that she knows everyone and everyone loves her and that your life will crumble if you try to leave. She is not the end all be all of education.

  18. To the last post,
THANK YOU!!! You have made alot of sense and this is what I am going to do. Teachers we have to stick together if we want justice. We are NO good to our students (the real reason we are here) if we are stressed out and mistreated. Lets get it together and do this the LEGAL way!

    ReplyDelete
  19. The problem is teachers don't stick together. Many smile to your face just as quick as they talk about you behind your back. No one is an exception to this. It happens daily within content teams, grade level teams and school-wide. If it can be done, great! But who is really willing to throw themselves out there if no one will be there to get their back?
