The Clarence Thomas of Education

There is no doubt in my mind that Mrs. Ervin is Clarence Thomas of Public Education. She is the one that "we" do not need to represent "us" as a people in Cobb County. She is a fake that is trying to bamboozle and hookwink her way to the top as the teachers of Lindley are "run amok" by 10-12 hour days and threats of termination if you are not "FOLLOWING THE VISION". Most disturbing is the fact that all this overseer mentality is not for the benefit of the students. It is her selfish need to receive acknowledgement from the Superintendents and School Board. Which is a joke because everyone knows that she had a Clarance Thomas track record in Fulton County. As an African American _________, I am proud of the accomplishments of our people. But this is one of those times where I am ashamed because the actions of one rogue individual. Why? Because when it is all over and the smoke has cleared, what is left in the minds of those who are in positions to make decisions on who serves in positions of leadership is DOUBT. Not only doubt in her, but doubt in "us". Instead of a story of accomplishment, determination, honor, and integrity, this chapter in African American history has the perfect ingredients for the makings of a tragedy. The floor is now open.

  1. This post is SOOOO Right On! Threats! Threats! Threats! All day, everyday. That is not leadership. REAL LEADERS DON'T HAVE TO THREATEN THEIR EMPLOYEES BECAUSE THE EMPLOYEES BELIEVE IN THEM. AND WHAT THE FUCK IS THE VISION? Nobody except that homely little Cambridge girl, Pig Vomit, and the rest of the Crons buy into that mess. Fuck the vision and the horse it rode in on! I swear I hope another job comes through before schools starts up again. I don't think I can deal with this mess anymore.
